ROWIAL Jazzrock wasn't dead! It just smelled funny for some years. Hago is perfect for substantially enriching as well as starting a best-of-creative-jazzrock-collection. Yes, there are quite some attributes of me'l &/or djent (if you need this distinction). But for my ears that isn't more or less than a significant part of the rock-part of this absolutely intriguing new jazzrock album.
Proghead

Proghead Not only is this album a fascinating blend of jazz and prog metal, but the awesome riffs and polyrhythmic grooves it showcases will blow your mind.

HAGO makes sure to express its varied influences throughout the album. The presence of so much unusual chord progressions and instrument composition make this album stand out!

GW Whitehead IsraeliJazzFusionProgMetal...so good it will be illegal in the West Bank! Just kidding. These are Berkeley dudes and this goes as deep as you can imagine, even containing a mind melting piano piece that will leave you staring into space! This is maybe the best FIND of the year, one of those precious little treasures one unearths!
